Our program for school groups is quite varied and is designed to be flexible so that we can cater to the differing requirements of various school groups.
We specialise in kayak camping trips for The Duke of Edinburgh Award. We have carefully selected out tour locations to be not only visually appealing to the students, but to offer a challenge commensurate with the level of DOE they are attempting. We have taken groups to Fiji, the Murray River, Myall Lakes, Great Lakes area (Forster) and the Hawkesbury area. What better way to reward gold students for the hard work they have put in, than to take them to places such as Fiji, New Zealand or Alaska for their final adventurous journey. Kayaking is often likened to "bushwalking on water"........ except your kayak takes the gear, not your back!!
If your school is looking for a day out as part of your outdoor education program or you would like to reward a particular student group, we can help you there as well. We offer a range of half day and day trips to some beautiful locations.
Safety on the water is often a concern of parents and teachers alike. The safety of your staff and students is our priority on any tour we undertake. Through our experience, we are able to manage large groups on the water, and your staff can sit back and relax, leaving the responsibility of safety to the professionals. In actual fact, more students get lost or injured bushwalking than kayaking...........
Our staff are highly experienced, professional kayakers. They are first aid trained, qualified with Australian Canoeing and Working With Children Checked.
We are more than happy to meet with you to discuss your requirements, so that we come up with something that not only satisfies school needs, but will provide the students with a quality outdoor experience that they will long remember.
